Picked this up earlier in the year after summer and was amazed by the consistent quality of music delivered over the entire album.  Hovering somewhere between ambient, experimental and slightly poppy, Totems Flare continues to display Chris Clark’s extreme mastery of the electronic realm.  From the ebbing build up of Outside Plume into personal favorite Growls Garden – develops into a tension filled releasing of compressed drums, synths, and wondrous sounds – through the hyper Rainbow Voodoo and Totem Crackerjack, funneling into a more ambient feeling Suns Of Temper and calming Absence, the album is designed to be listened from start to finish.  A gem, in my own opinion.  Pick it up on iTunes or wherever else you can find it.
